- Course: Medical Nutrition Therapy
- This advanced course delves into the clinical application and expanded role of medical nutrition therapy (MNT) within a clinical setting. Through an in-depth exploration of complex cases, evidence-based practices, and hands-on clinical experiences, students further develop their expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and implementing therapeutic nutrition interventions for diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
Requirements
- Preferred: Doctorate or M.S. - Nutritional Science/Dietetics or Biological or Exercise Science with emphasis/certifications in nutrition/dietetics
- Minimum: Masters in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Nutritional Science/Dietetics or Biological or Exercise Science with emphasis/certifications in nutrition/dietetics
