• ODW Logistics is a people-focused and customer-driven third-party logistics (3PL) provider committed to delivering seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions. Our extensive range of services include supply chain design and innovation, warehousing, efficient distribution and fulfillment, freight brokerage, transportation management, and specialized e-commerce fulfillment solutions.
• The Account Management Operations Internship position entails working within the ODW TM Hamilton, OH Office in numerous support roles throughout the Operations Department. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to gain firsthand experience in a fast-paced business environment where a high emphasis is placed on teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Carrier Onboarding Support
• Assist in all aspects of carrier set up procedures within TMS
• Work with Brokerage Regional Leaders & Assistants on carrier paperwork procedures
• Communicate any unobtainable work levels back to Team Leader – Brokerage to receive backup support.
• Maintain and develop positive business relationships with carrier personnel as well as personnel within the Brokerage Operational Teams.
• Customer Load Planning Support
• Plan, organize and execute pre-trip planning parameters with carriers on advance notification loads
• Communicate any carrier planning issues back to Account Management and Brokerage personnel.
• Maintain and develop positive business relationships with customer personnel as well as personnel within the Account Management Teams.
• Cross-Training
• As time and business levels permit, cross-train with other departments in the operation (Analytics, Dispatch, Account Management, etc.) to gain introductory knowledge of other industry components.
