• Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a experienced Project Manager to support the Rapid Acquisition Procurable Torpedo (RAPTOR) program. The Project Manager will support the RAPTOR program as it transitions into production, working directly with program leadership and stakeholders to translate commander’s intent and program objectives into actionable plans and drive those efforts through execution. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, proactive leader who can operate independently, lead multidisciplinary teams, effectively engage program stakeholders, and drive complex efforts from planning through execution. Strong leadership, initiative, and execution are critical to success in this position. Familiarity with the Department of Defense acquisition process and experience supporting Navy, submarine, undersea weapons, or other complex technical programs are highly desired. Responsibilities

• Support the RAPTOR program as it transitions into production.
• Work directly with program leadership and stakeholders to translate commander’s intent and program objectives into actionable plans.
• Drive efforts through execution.
• Operate independently, lead multidisciplinary teams, effectively engage program stakeholders, and drive complex efforts from planning through execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 12+ years of relevant professional experience, including significant project or program management experience supporting complex technical programs.
• Demonstrated ability to translate leadership direction and commander’s intent into actionable plans and drive those plans through execution.
• Experience leading and directing multidisciplinary teams to accomplish program objectives.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to independently manage priorities, schedules, actions, and deliverables with limited direction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage government leadership, technical teams, industry partners, and other program stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and proactively drive complex efforts forward.
• Master’s degree in engineering, science, technology, business, program management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting U.S. Navy, Department of Defense, or other defense acquisition programs.
• Familiarity with the Department of Defense acquisition process and transitioning programs or capabilities into production.
• Experience supporting undersea weapons, torpedoes, submarine systems, or undersea warfare programs.
• Previous experience supporting NAVSEA, a Navy Program Executive Office, or a Navy program office.
• Prior U.S. Navy submarine experience, including submarine officers and nuclear-trained personnel.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, acquisition, contracting, testing, production, logistics, and other functional areas.

• The expected salary range for this position is $125,00o - $175,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range.
