- M18 is seeking an Account Executive to join our Real Estate team. This position provides a unique opportunity for an early career communication professional to join a talented and motivated team working on some of the leading luxury and residential projects in Florida . You will support a variety of strategic communications plans by owning media outreach and supporting client and account management. This role is ideal for candidates with experience or personal interest in real estate, architecture and design.
- Role location: This role is based in our Miami, FL office on a hybrid basis, in-person at least one day per week.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation of strategies, press releases, timelines, reports, and other collateral for clients
- Monitor incoming press coverage
- Establish and build relationships with local, national and regional media outlets
- Ensure press reports are sent to clients to show results and press coverage
- Craft and send pitches to relevant media outlets about client activities
- Interface with clients including media coordination, pertinent updates, and call agendas
- Staff client events and press tours as needed
- Maintain and create media lists and editorial calendars
- Support with general administrative duties i.e. copying, filing, and phone calls as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PR, with agency experience preferred
- Experience pitching the media and demonstrated success securing coverage for clients
- Creative writing experience including press releases, media pitches, and social media content
- Strong aesthetic, point of view and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Photoshop
- Exemplary working knowledge of all social and digital media platforms
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
