- As a Staff Software Engineer, you will set the technical direction for the entire engineering organization. You will own our most critical, high-stakes, and ambiguous technical bets—decisions that will shape our product architecture and engineering trajectory for years to come. Acting as a force multiplier across multiple teams, your technical judgment and architectural standards will create an impact felt org-wide.
Responsibilities
- Technical Direction: Own the architectural strategy for complex, ambiguous problems across team and organizational boundaries.
- Multi-Year Architectural Bets: Make foundational platform decisions that scale our product over multiple years, taking full accountability for their long-term execution and reliability.
- AI Platform Strategy: Drive the technical strategy to rebuild our platform around AI capabilities and autonomous agents, translating high-level vision into actionable execution plans.
- Raise the Engineering Bar: Establish org-wide engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices that elevate overall system quality.
- Force Multiplier: Multiply the output of senior engineers across the organization through design guidance, rigorous code/architecture reviews, and active mentorship.
- Strategic Partnership: Partner as a peer with Engineering and Product leadership to align technology strategy with long-term business goals.
