- JOB PURPOSE: Nuvative, Inc., Software Engineers design, analyze and build computer applications, middleware, and network control systems across a variety of departments, including Finance, Operations, Compliance, Marketing and Technology.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the software design process by studying information needs; conferring with users; learning and incorporatingnew technology; making improvement suggestions
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture by producing clean, commented, tested, efficient code
- Test, debug and fix code
- Configure systems and deploy code
- Respond to issue and bug reports ina timelyfashion
- Update job knowledge by studyingstate-of-the-artdevelopment tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment;participatingin educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Protect company and customer data by keeping information confidential
Requirements
- 1-3 years’ experience (Beginner to intermediate level) in relational databases (e.g.MS SQL, MySQL)
- 1-3 years’ experience (Beginner to intermediate level) in selected programming languages (e.g.C#,VB.Net, JavaScript)
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work independently, and as a contributing member of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Complete coding tasks with less-than-detailed scopes
- Ability to estimate task work time and meet deliverable deadlines
- Incorporate secure programming practices into every task
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and statements
- Ability to respond to company issues clearly and effectively
