Job description
- The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by handling orders, inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and efficient manner. This role supports sales and operational goals by ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering strong relationships within the automotive aftermarket industry.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries via phone, or email
- Accurately process customer orders in the company system
- Provide product information, pricing, and availability details to customers
- Handle returns, warranties, and complaints according to company policies
- Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Support outside sales representatives with customer needs and account management
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records in the CRM system
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote repeat business
- Stay informed about product lines, promotions, and industry trends
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of customer service experience, ideally in automotive aftermarket, distribution, or retail parts
- Proven communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with computer systems, including order entry, CRM, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Candidates must meet employment eligibility requirements as established by U.S. federal law.
- Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and the successful completion of a background check and, where permitted by law, a drug screening.
- Knowledge of automotive parts or industry terminology
- Experience with ERP or order management systems
- Bilingual skills a plus
