Responsibilities

- Revenue Development & Market Expansion
- Meet and exceed assigned sales objectives
- Prospect for and develop new business opportunities
- Design and implement territory-specific market development strategies
- Acquire and onboard new commercial customer accounts
- Client Partnership & Satisfaction
- Cultivate long-term customer loyalty and retention
- Monitor and elevate service delivery standards
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with automotive shop proprietors
- People Management & Development
- Drive team performance toward established objectives
- Enhance overall team efficiency and effectiveness
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Operations teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Ensure alignment from initial sale through final product delivery
- Strategic Planning & Account Management
- Perform comprehensive market research and competitive analysis
- Develop and execute targeted business action plans
- Oversee relationships with high-value strategic accounts
- Compliance & Workplace Standards
- Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures
- Support loss prevention initiatives
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Required Experience
- 4 years of prior automotive hard parts repair, industrial power equipment, marine engine/power generation or agricultural power equipment industry experience, PREFERABLY with documented experience or certification in basic engine repair (such as A.S.E. A1, A8, A9, C1, L1, L2, L3, MIL2, P1,P2, S2, T1 OR T2 certifications; current or prior certifications acceptable for consideration with documentation)
- Demonstrated success in external sales and team leadership roles
- Proficiency in analyzing sales metrics, profit and loss statements, and gross margin data
- Essential Skills
- Microsoft Office Competency (Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams)
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software competency (i.e. Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Google Apps Competency (Gmail, Meet, Chat, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Detailed knowledge of internal combustion engine design, operation and components.
- Working knowledge of internal combustion engine repair and component machining processes, preferably with additional knowledge of performance aftermarket engine and drivetrain modification.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong negotiation and persuasion capabilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory (typically 50% or more) with regular overnight travel greater than 40%
