• GFT is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Construction Services Team in Wilmington, NC ! This role requires regular attendance at our Wilmington, NC office.

Responsibilities

• In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Conducts and documents project meetings with clients.
• Prepares and monitors project schedules.
• Performs periodic construction observation and inspection checks .
• Possesses basic surveying interpretation skills.
• Prepares reports and correspondence.
• Prepares and checks quantities for measurement and payment purposes.
• Prepares construction payment applications.
• Negotiates and prepares construction change orders.
• Reviews submittals and other technical data.
• Proficient with construction management software for document management and scheduling.
• Performs constructability reviews and value engineering studies.
• Assists with Risk Management assessments.
• Prepares and monitors Quality Control and Assurance Plans.
• Occasional Travel to and from project site s is expected .

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Experience working with NCDOT is strongly preferred.
• 10 + years of experience.
• Proficiency in Procore or similar CM software preferred but not required
• 10-hour OSHA Safety course.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and SharePoint Environment
• Good oral and written communication skills .
• Must possess a driver’s license to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

• The salary range for this role is $95,500 - $145,500. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
