- The Solutions Analyst is responsible for working with established and potential clients to understand their needs relative to the services and solutions we offer. The business requirements defined in these interactions are used to inform technical complexity, scope, level of effort and pricing.
- The Solutions Analyst will exhibit general technical and product knowledge to position the right solution in collaboration with the Business Development team. This position is entrusted with building a unique understanding of the customer’s needs and documenting the business requirements to ensure a successful project implementation end-to-end.
- Building and maintaining relationships with fellow associates, stakeholders and customers is a critical aspect of this position. You will be required to solve complex problems through critical thinking and quantitative analysis. Growing the business through efficiency and standardized modeling is a necessity.
- This position can be in-person or hybrid if local to South Bend, fully remote if not local to South Bend.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales team members to understand, define, and document customer requirements
- Hold discussions with prospects to understand the details surrounding a source system to properly determine the level of effort for solutions and provide a standard report of the findings, along with any supporting collateral, to the sales rep for quotation
- Document and record information regarding past projects, projects quoted, and other statistical information as it relates to the services and solutions we offer
- Evaluate and organize content related to current, previous, and future sales engineering solution content
- Assist in building and maintaining the library of standard archive and migration models, plans, and deliverables
- Stay informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments
- Act as a Business Development liaison to the following departments: Product Management, Development, IT and Operations
- Assist with training Business Development team members as it pertains to product offerings
- Assist with maintaining the pricing matrix on a quarterly basis in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders
- Provide enhancement inputs to senior Solutions Engineering team members for the HealthData Planner solution
- Travel up to 10-25%
- Complete other job-related assignments and special projects as requested
Requirements
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction
- Superb organizational skills, time management and attention to detail
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
- General knowledge of technical infrastructure as it relates to compute, storage, and data
- Disciplined in project scoping and implementation requirements gathering
- Driven to complete assigned work and meet aggressive timeline expectations

- Responsible for protecting data entrusted to HHIT by customers or other parties by strictly adhering to HHIT’s data security and privacy policies and procedures, as well as HIPAA, PIPEDA and all other applicable law.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3+ years of proven experience in sales engineering, business development, or sales support operations
- Demonstrated experience as a resource who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically while staying on top of tactical execution
- Demonstrated success in cultivating strong working relationships and guiding cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management
