• Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D), which now includes Project Management Advisors (PMA), is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in San Francisco.
• This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• We are seeking an experienced project management professional to support a globally recognized technology client across a complex portfolio of workplace, tenant improvement, renovation, relocation, and capital projects.
• The ideal candidate brings significant experience managing corporate workplace and tenant improvement projects and is comfortable working in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders and concurrent projects. This individual will work closely with client leadership, workplace and facilities teams, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other project partners to deliver high-quality projects that align with business, operational, and workplace objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact between clients and project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead workplace, tenant improvement, office renovation, relocation, and capital improvement projects from planning through design, construction, and occupancy
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities within a complex corporate workplace environment
• Coordinate and lead regular project and design meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Document discussions, track action items, and maintain accountability across project teams
• Review project requirements, program objectives, and workplace standards and confirm their incorporation into project deliverables
• Coordinate design, construction, and consultant procurement activities
• Support contract development, review, negotiation, and administration for project-related agreements
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, schedules, reporting tools, and project controls
• Evaluate potential changes to project scope, budget, schedule, and overall project objectives
• Analyze project budgets and schedules and identify potential impacts to financial, operational, and workplace objectives
• Participate in value engineering discussions and evaluate project alternatives with clients and project teams
• Build strong partnerships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum
• Manage projects within active and occupied environments, coordinating phasing and implementation strategies to minimize disruption to ongoing business operations
• Monitor construction activities and confirm alignment with design intent, contract requirements, schedules, and quality standards
• Review construction documentation and observe and report on construction progress and project-related issues
• Support project closeout, turnover, occupancy, and transition activities
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers
• Contribute to business development initiatives through client relationship management, networking, proposals, and interview participation

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in real estate development, construction management, project management, owner's representation, or a related field
• Significant experience managing corporate workplace, tenant improvement, office renovation, or commercial interiors projects
• Experience serving as an Owner's Representative or Project Manager representing the interests of corporate, institutional, developer, or investor clients
• Experience leading projects through planning, design, construction, and occupancy
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within a complex workplace environment preferred
• Experience working with technology companies or other sophisticated corporate environments preferred
• Experience managing projects within active or occupied environments
• Strong understanding of workplace projects, tenant improvements, design and construction processes, project controls, documentation, and sequencing
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, reporting tools, and project controls
• Ability to interpret architectural, engineering, and construction documentation
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, permitting, and occupancy requirements
• Experience supporting procurement, contracts, consultant coordination, and construction administration
• Strong communication and relationship management skills with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field preferred
• You are a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of project outcomes
• You understand the unique challenges of corporate workplace and tenant improvement projects
• You are comfortable managing multiple projects and navigating complex stakeholder groups
• You bring strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to client and team interactions
• You have a polished and professional presence and communicate effectively with both project teams and senior stakeholders
• You are highly organized and detail-oriented when managing project information, schedules, budgets, and deliverables

• This role's target base annual salary range is currently $130,000-180,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, candidate abilities, and pay relative to other team members.
