• Be the First. Build the Territory. Own the Greater Boston Market.
• We're looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Outside Sales Representative with experience in the climate control rental industry, to become our first dedicated salesperson in the Greater Boston region and help build our climate control rental business from the ground up.
• This isn't a role for someone who wants to inherit a book of business and maintain existing accounts. We're looking for a true hunter-someone who gets energized by breaking into a new market, opening doors, finding opportunities others haven't uncovered, and turning new relationships into long-term customers.
• You'll take ownership of developing the Greater Boston territory, targeting customers across construction, commercial, industrial, mechanical/HVAC, restoration, events, and other industries that rely on temporary heating, cooling, and climate control solutions.
• You'll spend your time in the market-prospecting, visiting jobsites, networking, identifying upcoming projects, building relationships with decision-makers, and creating a pipeline where one doesn't exist today.
• As our first salesperson in Boston, you'll have the opportunity to put your fingerprints on the market. You'll help identify where the greatest opportunities are, determine which customers and industries to pursue, build our local presence, and establish relationships that can fuel our growth for years to come.

Responsibilities

• Identify & Engage: Scout and pursue new project opportunities through research, outreach, conferences, and digital platforms.
• Build Partnerships: Forge lasting relationships with potential and existing clients to unlock long-term value.
• Drive Strategy: Design and execute business development initiatives aligned with our growth goals.
• Lead Negotiations: Craft compelling pricing proposals and contracts, and support executive teams during deal negotiations.
• Analyze & Optimize: Collaborate with finance and operations teams to monitor project performance and continuously improve outcomes.
• Support Marketing: Coordinate promotional efforts to amplify product visibility and customer engagement.
• Represent REIC: Attend trade shows and industry events to keep a pulse on market trends and build brand presence.
• Enable Sales: Partner with internal teams to deliver product demos, customer training, and smooth onboarding experiences.

Requirements

• 5-10 yrs + Proven success in sales or business development roles, with a focus on strategic growth and customer engagement in the equipment rental or related industries (construction, oil & gas, industrial or ag equipment manufacturing, etc.).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in forecasting, pricing, and financial modeling.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
