- We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to work across our portfolio of integrated healthcare communications, public affairs and policy accounts, particularly focussed on the UK. You'll drive stakeholder engagement, shape policy and media conversations, build corporate reputation amongst high-level policy makers and deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities
- Drafting a range of materials including policy briefings, narratives, press releases, opinion editorials, digital content, outreach letters, political engagement strategies, consultation responses, stakeholder maps, media lists, and analysis
- Overseeing the delivery of multiple projects and account management for multiple clients
- Coordinating, managing and undertaking media, political and policy monitoring and horizon scanning
- Organising and coordinating set-piece events (i.e. policy roundtables and parliamentary events) and running media and digital campaigns
- Helping to devise and deliver proactive and reactive media and digital engagement strategies
- Supporting new business proposals and pitches
- Ensuring the successful day-to-day delivery of strategies and tactical plans
- Supporting the growth and development of junior team members
- Effective utilisation of AI tools to deliver effective communications and policy programmes
Requirements
- Previous account management experience working in healthcare and life sciences in the UK, ideally within an agency, or otherwise in-house
- Ability to demonstrate experience in the delivery of public affairs/communications campaigns
- Analytical and able to process complex intelligence rapidly, oversee media/policy/political insights and monitoring
- Exhibit knowledge of, and interest in, the UK healthcare media and policy landscape, with strong understanding of current affairs and the UK political landscape
- Knowledge and understanding of the ABPI code
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
