- Monitor company safety activities and programs to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment for all employees. Conducts facility and vehicle handling safety audits for all employees. Assists with conducting OSHA training, and investigating vehicle accidents and injuries.
Responsibilities
- Primary
- Monitor the work environment for possible hazards such as slips, trips, falls, electrical shock, and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Conduct inspections of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity.
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
- Assist with entering accident and injury reports into PMvitals.
- Conduct safety audits, to include PPE, observing safety procedures, etc.
- Issue citations to employees out of compliance
- Secondary
- Assist Safety Manager in all safety programs.
- Assist with security audits / investigations
- Assist with issuance / deactivation of access badges
- Assist departments in safety procedure
- All other duties assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma/G.E.D
- Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions
- Experienced in Safety
- Knowledge of OSHA standards
- Computer Skills
