Job description

• The Research, Analytics & Data Science (RAD) team at Fin use data and insights to drive evidence-based decision-making. We're a team of data scientists and product researchers who use data - both big and small to unlock actionable insights about our customers, our products and our business. We generate insights that build customer empathy, drive product strategy and shape products that deliver real value to our customers. If you get really excited about asking the right questions, exploring patterns in data and surfacing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions, then this role is for you.
• Growth Data Scientists in RAD partner with the product teams who own our self-serve signup flow, our trial experience and onboarding, our checkout flow and our Startup Programs. This role will enable you to drive key data projects that directly impact the thousands of companies who sign up for Fin every week.

Responsibilities

• You’ll identify opportunities to improve our in-product trial experience and ultimately conversion by analysing usage, reviewing customer feedback and studying competitor products
• You’ll design experiments and measure outcomes to understand the impact of changes to our signup flow, trial experience and checkout flow
• You’ll review the performance of our Startup programs to make sure that they are attracting the right prospects and that the incentives are driving feature adoption
• You’ll contribute to projects that improve the tools and infrastructure that data scientists use to do their work.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience working as a data scientist or analyst
• Excellent communication skills and a focus on impact
• Decent experience leveraging AI tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code) for data science work
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working on a B2B SaaS product
• Experience partnering with Qualitative Research teams
