Job description

• We are seeking an engineer who will play a key role in building new capabilities in the cloud. You will leverage modern agile development practices and architecture patterns. You will be working closely with a diverse team of technologists who believe in the power of innovation and collaboration and are motivated by operating at fast speed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology-related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
• 5+ years of Java and Spring Boot experience on high-volume enterprise systems
• Experience developing REST services and working with enterprise messaging systems like ActiveMQ, Kafka, ASB
• Proficiency with PL/SQL and complex queries
• Proficiency with testing tools like JUnit, Cucumber, Karate
• Proficiency working with Docker, cloud computing, and cloud services platforms. Preferably Azure.
• Application build and deployment using Continuous Integration/Deployment tools -- Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, etc.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Curiosity and a desire to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns
• A passion to follow modern test-driven and automation-driven software development methodologies
