Job description

• As a Sr Communications Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing communication strategies that enhance the HR organization's reputation and brand image. You will be responsible for creating compelling content for our HR systems, ensure consistent messaging across various channels and support employee and manager messaging. HR Services supports deployment of many system and process changes, and you will help develop robust communication strategies to support.
• In this role, you will impact the way our organization communicates with internal audiences, including HR Community, managers and employees. Your efforts will help build and maintain a positive public image, manage crisis communication, and support business objectives through strategic communication initiatives.
• You will report directly to our Director HR Project Management and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic communication plans for HR Services
• Craft compelling messages and materials for internal HRS and broad employee communications
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with HR Service goals
• Manage internal communication channels, such as newsletters and intranet
• Partner with HR Service leadership to ensure robust communication plans as projects are deployed
• Assist in crisis communication efforts for employee related issues
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in communications
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies
• Strong media relations and crisis communication experience
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Experience in technology or manufacturing industry
