Job description

• Job Title: Temporary SAP Consultant (Manufacturing/Production Planning)
• Location: Peachtree City, GA
• Duration: Approximately 30–45 Days (3–4 hours per day)
• We have an immediate need for a temporary SAP consultant specializing in manufacturing and production planning. The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience in SAP, particularly within a manufacturing environment, and demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP). This individual will be expected to work independently with minimal training.

Responsibilities

• Create, release, process, and complete production orders.
• Perform production order confirmations.
• Implement backflushing of components and troubleshoot backflush issues.
• Manage goods issue and goods receipt associated with production activities.
• Troubleshoot failed or incorrect production transactions.
• Handle manufacturing master data, including Material Masters, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routings, and Work Centers.
• Correct master data issues affecting production transactions.
• Understand inventory movements associated with manufacturing orders.
• Collaborate effectively with manufacturing personnel by providing hands-on SAP production support.

Requirements

• Proven experience with SAP PP in an active manufacturing setting.
• Ability to independently manage manufacturing transactions without the need for extensive training.
• Experience must be focused on manufacturing and Production Planning; candidates with primarily end-user SAP experience in Finance, HR, Sales, or Procurement will not be considered.
