Responsibilities
- • Contribute technical expertise and work within a focused team that designs, fabricates, integrates and tests RF and millimeter wave subsystems.
- • Work closely with scientists and engineers to provide support in developing state of the art RF subsystems for communication, radar and sensing applications.
- • Additional job functions include: solving customer problems, writing invention disclosures, publishing papers, briefing customers, participating in proposal activities and assisting in marketing HRL expertise.
Requirements
- • Master's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience
- • Some experience with modeling and simulating electronic components, RF electronics and circuits is desired.
- • Experience with different families of FPGAs, DSPs, or microcontrollers is desired.
- • A working familiarity with Python, C and MATLAB. Simulink is a plus.
- • Understanding of basic circuit theory, electromagnetics, and digital signal processing.
- • Familiarity with RF and high-speed digital test equipment.
- • Working knowledge of RF components for communication and radar systems is a plus.
- • Applicant must be able to interact professionally with program managers, co-workers, customers
- • Ability to operate complex electronic equipment
- • Perform detailed analyses of integrated circuits and prepare written and oral presentations.
- • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- • U.S. Citizen is required.
- • Ability to obtain a security clearance desired.
