- Strategic Marketing & Value Proposition
- Collaborate with marketing to transition from product-based selling to solution-based selling.
- Support value-based pricing strategies for current and future offerings.
- Innovation & Technical Integration
- Co-lead innovative projects with the Application Lab to support customer-specific solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and commercial trends relevant to the product portfolio.
- Risk & Compliance Management
- Continuously assess business risks and communicate proactively with senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards.
- Brand & Market Positioning
- Strengthen Azelis India's brand image as a responsive, customer-centric, and sustainable partner.
- Develop winning propositions for Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers in collaboration with technical teams.
- Cross-functional Coordination
- Facilitate effective communication between internal stakeholders including R&D, marketing, legal, and business creation teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, Organic Chemistry, or Pharmacy.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical industry sales. (Pharma API sales would be an added advantage)
- Strong commercial and technical networking capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with a structured and flexible approach.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written); additional languages are an asset.
- Commitment to professional ethics and organizational culture.
