Grounds Keeper - $20.00/hr - 1st Shift at Steel and Pipe Supply in New Century, KS

Job description

• The Grounds Keeper is responsible for ensuring all areas of the facility such as but not limited to: maintenance, production, and shipping, restrooms, lunchroom, driveways, parking areas and grounds surrounding the facility to ensure a safe work
• environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as required.
• Follow and enforce company safety polices and safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and others
• Maintain clean inside and outside work areas
• Empty barrel and trash containers
• Maintain office floors, restrooms, and break rooms
• Perform other janitorial services as needed
• Operate equipment and tools for seasonal activities as necessary.
• Inventories cleaning supplies and notifies appropriate personnel when re‐orders are needed, being mindful of time allowance needed in ordering process. (different than SPS)
• Submit detailed and accurate work orders for any equipment issues as occurrences happen.
