- Oversee the development and performance of Wabtec Inspection Technologies sales activities in the assigned market. Lead and develop the Sales team, providing guidance to achieve order and sales growth aligned with the Company's vision and values. Develop plans and strategies to manage and expand the customer base in the territories/markets, contributing to the overall business growth.
Responsibilities
- Sales - Maximize the team's orders, sales growth, and gross margin contribution. Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and prioritize marketing opportunities and initiatives.
- Budget Management - Responsible for the input and effective management of the P&L for the defined product portfolio, encompassing net margin, stock management, and expenses.
- Leadership - Provide leadership and development to team members to help them reach their full potential in line with People Leader expectations. Coach and manage individual performance as needed, addressing high-conflict situations while ensuring business needs are met and consistently upholding the Company's values.
- The position is accountable for all decision-making related to ANZ’s sales operations within Wabtec Inspection Technologies Sales.
Requirements
- Effective Team Management: Expertly leads and manages a team of Sales Specialists.
- Organization and Planning: Highly organized with exceptional planning and prioritization abilities.
- Meeting Facilitation: Conducts team and client meetings efficiently and productively.
- Presentation Skills: Delivers engaging, informative, and well-structured presentations.
- Communication: Possesses refined and effective communication skills.
- Issue Resolution: Promptly resolves and/or escalates issues as necessary.
- Tactful Communication: Capable of conveying difficult or sensitive information with tact.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifies areas for improvement and provides constructive suggestions for change.
- Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience in relevant industry.
- Experience in sales management and leading a diverse team of salespeople.
- Applicants must have current working rights in Australia/Singapore/South Korea/Hong Kong. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete background and criminal history check.
- Tertiary qualifications in business/engineering or a science-related discipline highly desirable.
