Responsibilities

• Support Europe Marketing Services teams as a MarTech subject matter specialist, providing guidance on marketing automation, client use cases and implementation considerations, helping local teams and clients shape practical, scalable solutions across marketing automation, data-driven engagement, AI-enabled marketing, measurement, and future capability areas.
• Translate local market needs, client ambitions, and technical MarTech requirements into clear use cases, solution designs, implementation considerations, and commercially relevant recommendations.
• Support client discovery and solutioning conversations with confidence, explaining complex MarTech capabilities in simple, practical language while assessing readiness across data, integrations, consent, content, journeys, measurement, governance, and delivery.
• Enable local Marketing Services teams to identify the right opportunities, position capabilities such as VM360 and future AI-enabled solutions, and move client opportunities from concept to implementation readiness.
• Partner with Global Marketing Services, Product, Technology, Data, Legal, Privacy, VCA, Sales, Insights & Analytics, and local market teams to ensure solutions are commercially attractive, technically feasible, compliant, and scalable.
• Build repeatable tools, guidance, discovery questions, requirements templates, solution narratives, training materials, and governance approaches that improve sales confidence, delivery efficiency, and best-practice sharing across Europe.
• Monitor emerging MarTech and AI developments and share relevant insights that may enhance client solutions and service offerings by anticipating future capability needs and translating emerging technologies into practical client value.
• Act as a regional subject matter expert for MarTech-enabled Marketing Services capabilities, starting with VM360 and expanding to future automation, data-driven, and AI-enabled marketing solutions.
• Work with cluster and local Marketing Services teams to capture technical MarTech requirements, translate them into clear business and solution requirements, and identify implications for data, integration, content, consent, measurement, and delivery.
• Support and participate in client conversations, confidently explaining marketing automation, AI-enabled marketing, data-driven engagement, implementation considerations, and how MarTech can help improve activation, engagement, retention, and usage outcomes.
• Shape client-specific MarTech use cases across the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, service-led communications, activation, usage stimulation, retention, personalisation, AI-assisted optimisation, and always-on engagement programmes.
• Assess client and local market readiness for MarTech delivery, identifying required inputs, dependencies, risks, data availability, governance needs, and operational steps required to move from opportunity to implementation.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Data, Legal, Privacy, VCA, Sales, Insights & Analytics, and Global Marketing Services to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and solutions are commercially attractive, technically feasible, compliant, and scalable.
• Develop practical tools, guidance, training, FAQs, discovery questions, and sales enablement materials that help local teams identify MarTech opportunities and discuss technical solutions with confidence.
• Capture learnings from early MarTech engagements, define repeatable delivery approaches, support capability governance, and share MarTech best practices across the European and Global Marketing Services community.
• Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with marketing technology platforms, marketing automation tools, CRM or customer engagement systems, and/or customer data-driven marketing solutions.
• Strong understanding of how marketing platforms use customer data, segmentation, consent, content, journeys, triggers, integrations, reporting, and measurement to deliver automated marketing programmes.
• Ability to translate business objectives and local market requirements into structured MarTech use cases, solution designs, implementation considerations, and pragmatic recommendations.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, commercially relevant language to both internal stakeholders and client audiences.
• Solid understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, activation, usage, retention, personalisation, and campaign measurement, ideally in financial services, payments, loyalty, or customer engagement environments.
• Working knowledge of data quality, privacy, consent, compliance, and governance considerations relevant to marketing automation and client data activation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, sales, product, technology, data, legal, privacy, and analytics teams in a matrixed regional environment.
• Comfortable working through ambiguity, managing multiple workstreams, documenting requirements, solving problems, and moving opportunities from concept to implementation readiness.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite with clients and local teams when necessary.
