• The Sales Account Manager is a results-driven professional responsible for driving B2B growth across machining capabilities and engineered product solutions. This role blends business development, technical sales, and commercial execution to expand market presence, generate new revenue, and strengthen customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Quoting & Technical Sales
• · Prepare accurate, customer-focused quotations based on CNC machining requirements, including part geometry, material selection, tolerances, finishing processes, labor inputs, and production volumes
• · Interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T, to ensure feasibility and scope clarity
• · Evaluate cost drivers, pricing strategies, and commercial risks prior to submission
• · Recommend solutions across machining, fabrication, and assemblies—not limited to individual components
• Lead & Territory Development
• · Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
• · Develop and execute territory strategies aligned with growth objectives
• · Identify and develop new market opportunities to expand business growth
• · Build and maintain a diversified pipeline based on profitability, repeatability, and strategic fit
• Customer Engagement
• · Conduct on-site assessments to understand product requirements, performance expectations, and manufacturability
• · Provide technical guidance and recommend optimized engineered solutions
• · Lead client meetings, plant tours, and technical discussions
• · Build strong relationships with OEMs, EPCs, and end users
• Project Coordination
• · Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to ensure solutions are executable
• · Align sales commitments with production capabilities, timelines, and quality standards
• Pipeline & CRM Management
• · Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce, HubSpot, Campfire) to support forecasting and account management
• · Track opportunities, manage pipeline health, and prioritize high-value prospects
• · Develop and sustain a strong opportunity funnel
• Technical Support
• · Advise customers on machining processes, materials selection, and finishing options
• · Provide ongoing consultative support to improve outcomes and performance
• Issue Resolution
• · Address customer concerns promptly to protect relationships and ensure repeat business
• · Balance customer satisfaction with commercial considerations and long-term account growth

• · Proven ability to assess requirements and develop accurate, competitive quotations
• · Experience with engineered products, fabrications, assemblies, and foundry/casting processes is considered an asset
• · Demonstrated success in prospecting, qualifying, and closing complex sales opportunities
• · Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with 3D modeling software is an asset
• · Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills
• · Solid understanding of manufacturing cost structures and drivers
• · Willingness to travel regularly within Southern Ontario
