Treasury Analyst at Permian Resources in Midland, Texas

• Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Treasury Analyst in Midland, TX, reporting to the Director of Treasury. This position will be responsible for supporting both the daily cash management of the organization and administration of the company’s hedge portfolio. This position is also responsible for preparing debt compliance documentation and supporting treasury operations related to liquidity, banking relationships, and financial risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cash operations, financial instruments, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring daily cash positions across all bank accounts and legal entities.
• Preparing and distributing daily cash reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Executing wire transfers, ACH payments, and internal cash movements while maintaining accurate records.
• Track and maintain the company’s hedge portfolio, including commodity and interest rate derivatives.
• Record and reconcile hedge transactions with broker confirmations and bank statements.
• Prepare reports on hedge effectiveness, exposures, mark-to-market valuations, and performance metrics.
• Prepare and organize documentation related to debt agreements and compliance reporting.
• Calculate financial covenants and assist in the submission of required reports to lenders.
• Serve as a liaison with banks on issues related to payments, accounts, and documentation.
• Assist with account opening, closing, and maintenance in coordination with bank partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2 or more years of experience in treasury, finance, or related areas.
• Understanding of financial instruments, including commodity swaps and derivatives.
• Familiarity with debt covenant calculations and compliance reporting.
• Ability to oversee daily cash flows and ensure operational liquidity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Access
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective in working with cross-functional teams including accounting, finance, and external financial institutions.
• Exposure to both cash management and hedge portfolio administration.
• Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) or ERP platforms.
