Full Time (8am-4:30pm) Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, organizes the activities occurring on the Unit and assists the Nursing Unit staff in the efficient daily operations by implementing, coordinating and maintaining all unit clerical services and systems.

Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, organizes the activities occurring on the Unit and assists the Nursing Unit staff in the efficient daily operations by implementing, coordinating and maintaining all unit clerical services and systems.
- Functions as receptionist.
- Verifies unit census daily.
- Acts as a source of communication and maintains the physical environment of the area.
- Processes new admissions, sets up charts, scans and files medical records, arranges transportation and completes necessary patient forms for discharges, transfers and appointments.
- Books lab, x-ray, EKG and physician's services.
- Maintains daily schedule.
- CNA support
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- • High School Diploma required.
- • Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
- • Previous experience preferred.
- • Degree/Certificate in Medical Terminology preferred.
- • Current Certification in BLS of Adult, Child and Infant.
