Senior Analyst Tester at FNZ in Brisbane - Australia

Job description

• Join FNZ's Capital Markets team and play a key role in delivering quality solutions across our equities platform. This position is ideal for an experienced Analyst Tester who thrives in a hands-on testing environment and enjoys working across the full test lifecycle, from requirements analysis and test coverage design through to execution, defect management and release support. Working within a complex equities domain, you'll partner closely with Product, Technology and Business teams to translate business and technical requirements into robust testing outcomes.
• Experience with TOSCA and ASX CHESS will be highly regarded, as will a strong understanding of test coverage analysis, test design and end-to-end functional testing.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements, translating them into comprehensive test coverage, test cases and test artefacts.
• Own testing activities across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to release and production readiness.
• Develop, execute and maintain functional, integration, regression and end-to-end test scenarios for equities products.
• Partner closely with Product, Business Analysis and Development teams to ensure solutions meet business and client requirements.
• Identify, document, manage and retest defects, working collaboratively with developers to drive timely resolution.
• Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, traceability matrices and quality reporting to support successful delivery outcomes.
• Support client and internal user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and meet quality standards.
• Contribute to the ongoing quality and stability of FNZ's Equities platform, including legacy technologies and evolving web-based applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance or analyst testing roles within financial services, capital markets or wealth management environments.
• Strong requirements analysis skills, with the ability to interpret business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test coverage and test scenarios.
• Experience working across the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, test design, execution, defect management and release support.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying gaps, risks and edge-case scenarios.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Technology and Business teams.
• A hands-on approach and willingness to work within a complex equities environment, including both established legacy platforms and newer web-based applications.
• Experience with TOSCA, ASX CHESS, equities products or capital markets platforms will be highly regarded.
• A self-motivated and delivery-focused mindset, with the ability to take ownership, work independently and maintain high standards of quality in a fast-paced environment.
