Marketing Events Specialist - Americas at PTC in Boston, MA, USA

Job description

• We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Marketing Events Specialist to help drive Onshape's events strategy across the Americas. This role will own the planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of trade shows, conferences, technology events, executive programs, and other in-person experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong event execution and project management skills with a data-driven mindset, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, and Product to deliver experiences that engage target audiences, generate demand, and drive measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and execute an engaging Americas events calendar aligned to marketing and business priorities
• Own end-to-end planning and execution of Onshape's participation in trade shows, conferences, technology events, executive programs, and other in-person experiences across the Americas
• Identify new event opportunities, providing recommendations based on audience fit, business objectives, cost, and expected impact
• Manage all aspects of event execution, including registration, sponsorships, booth requirements, shipping, vendors, staffing, speaking opportunities, promotion, and post-event follow-up
• Coordinate event communications and deliverables across internal teams and external partners, ensuring stakeholders have visibility into upcoming programs, deadlines, and responsibilities
• Partner with Sales on event objectives, target account engagement, staffing, pre-event activation, and post-event lead follow-up
• Manage event budgets and track spend to ensure programs are delivered within budget
• Track, analyze, and report on event performance, including attendance, engagement, leads, opportunities, pipeline contribution, ARR, and ROI; identify insights to inform future event investment
• Coordinate event programming and speaker logistics, including session submissions, speaker communications, deadlines, presentations, and onsite requirements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment
• Experience planning and executing industry tradeshows, conferences, meetups, and other in-person events
• Experience with CRM, marketing automation, event management, and lead retrieval platforms; Salesforce experience preferred
• Strong project management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience managing event budgets and measuring event performance
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Americas

• PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $70,000-$85,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
• Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus.
