• Duration: 3 months with possible extension

• Pay Range: $70.00 - $74.79 per hour
• This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of customer-facing merchandising applications by providing critical first-level support and development. You will be instrumental in resolving production issues, enhancing system monitoring, and contributing to software projects to directly improve the customer experience. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot.
• Build and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Apply strong DSA and problem-solving skills to develop efficient and optimized backend solutions.
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, code reviews, and production troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Strong Java backend development experience with Spring/Spring Boot.
• AWS experience – hands-on with services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB/RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Strong DSA fundamentals – able to solve medium-to-hard coding problems and explain time/space complexity.
• System Design – experience designing scalable, highly available backend services and APIs.
• Microservices & REST APIs – hands-on experience building and integrating production-grade services.
• This role is within the e-commerce merchandising domain, requiring experience with or a strong interest in retail technology platforms.
