• The Senior Sales Representative is responsible for generating profitable wholesale revenue, expanding account distribution, and building long-lasting customer relationships within the target market for all iAnthus brands inside the Illinois market. This is a frontline sales role for someone who knows how to open doors, grow existing account, create demand, and convert opportunities into collected revenue.
• This individual will own the entire account lifecycle: from prospecting, to product presentations, to order execution, to sell-thru support, to payment collection, and to a laser focus on re-order rates. The Senior Sales Rep will work closely with revenue planning, operations, marketing, finance, and brand ambassadors to ensure customers receive the right products, at the right time, with the commercial support to win in retail stores. The ideal candidate will have established relationships inside the market that will assist in generating rapid wins.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned wholesale revenue, distribution, gross margin, and collection targets while maintaining a disciplined pipeline of new and existing account opportunities.
• Open new accounts, reactivate old accounts, and expand product placement across existing doors in the market.
• Build relationships with dispensary operators, buyers, and frontline teams through strong execution and intimate understanding of iAnthus business goals & objectives.
• Develop account-specific sales strategies that improve assortment placement, reorder frequency, and clearly address the needs of their business.
• Manage the complete sales process, including outreach, presentations, menu creation, order entry, inventory coordination, delivery follow-up, and reorders.
• Partner with marketing & brand ambassadors to increase brand awareness and sell-through via budtender education, merchandising, and product launches.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, account forecasts, pipeline status, competitive intelligence, and a clearly defined set of “next steps”.
• Bring actionable insights back to the business, including pricing trends, competitor activity, product needs, customer feedback, and driving new opportunities.
• Operate within a performance-driven compensation structure: exceed quota creates meaningful earning upside, while sustained underperformance may reduce incentive compensation.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-4 years of sales experience in leading sales and managing wholesale accounts.
• Demonstrated network connections in the domain and relationships with players serving it a strong preference.
• Demonstrated results in managing complex sales, sales programs, and portfolios of initiatives through excellent influence skills.
• Demonstrated ability and proven record of accomplishment in the driving process, efficiency, and growth improvements/results.
• An effective manager with strong execution skills that is entrepreneurial, astute and has a passion for getting into the details where appropriate to make effective decisions and drive results.
• Big picture thinker, strategic, but able to distill functions and business interactions into the tactical/detailed process and workflow to drive improvement and efficiency gains.
• Effectively demonstrate analytical skills, change management and financial acumen.
• An effective and persuasive communicator with outstanding presence, presentation and negotiation skills that constantly strives for simplicity and clarity.
• Strong leadership, team member and staff/team development and motivation skills.
• Able to travel, as needed, including nights and/or weekends when/where necessary to drive sales.
• Excellent presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
• Green Flower and/or Ganjier certificate strongly preferred.
