Job description
- R.R. Cassidy is looking for a HR Intern that will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position assists with employee records, onboarding, HR communications, and other HR-related activities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records and HR files.
- Support new-hire onboarding, including preparing paperwork, coordinating orientations, and ensuring required documentation is completed.
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and company programs or direct questions to the appropriate HR team member.
- Maintain HR databases and employee information.
- Support benefits enrollment and employee benefits administration.
- Assist with employee engagement activities, training programs, and company events.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of administrative or office experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Experience with an applicant tracking system is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
