• The Multimedia Designer creates engaging, high-quality visual experiences that bring the brand to life across digital, motion, video, and print channels. This role combines strong graphic design fundamentals with hands-on expertise in motion graphics, animation, and video editing to develop creative assets for integrated campaigns, social media, websites, product initiatives, events, sales enablement, and customer communications.
• Working closely with the marketing team and cross-functional partners, the Multimedia Designer translates ideas, messaging, and business objectives into compelling visual stories. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable designing a polished static asset, animating a campaign concept, and editing short-form video. They are a thoughtful creative problem solver with strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Multimedia Design and Creative Development
• Design digital and print marketing assets, including website graphics, landing page visuals, email graphics, social content, digital ads, presentations, one-pagers, event materials, infographics, and campaign collateral.
• Translate creative briefs, messaging, and campaign goals into clear, engaging visual concepts that align with brand and marketing objectives.
• Develop graphics, templates, and reusable design systems that improve creative efficiency and consistency.
• Prepare production-ready files and adapt creative across formats, dimensions, platforms, and audience needs.
• Motion Graphics, Animation, and Video
• Create motion graphics and animations for social media, digital advertising, websites, presentations, product storytelling, events, webinars, and internal communications.
• Edit short-form video content, including promotional videos, customer stories, event recaps, speaker content, product demonstrations, and social clips.
• Develop storyboards, style frames, transitions, animated typography, iconography, data visualizations, and other motion elements that make complex ideas easy to understand.
• Incorporate music, voiceover, sound effects, captions, and brand elements to produce polished, accessible video content.
• Optimize and export motion and video assets for different channels, aspect ratios, file-size requirements, and playback environments.
• Create reusable motion templates and establish consistent animation standards for the brand.
• Stay current on motion design, animation, video, and platform-specific creative trends, applying them thoughtfully rather than following trends for their own sake.
• Brand and Visual Identity
• Maintain a consistent, cohesive brand experience across static, motion, video, digital, and print touchpoints.
• Help evolve and strengthen the company’s visual and motion identity through thoughtful design solutions.
• Create and maintain brand assets, templates, motion guidelines, and creative resources.
• Review work for visual quality, brand alignment, accuracy, and consistency before delivery.
• Campaign and Marketing Support
• Partner with marketing teams to develop creative concepts for integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.
• Create supporting visuals and multimedia content for product launches, webinars, events, announcements, thought leadership, and customer initiatives.
• Collaborate on creative direction, production plans, timelines, and deliverables for marketing initiatives.
• Support sales enablement through presentations, videos, one-pagers, infographics, case studies, and other visual materials.
• Website and Digital Experience
• Design and optimize website graphics, banners, illustrations, animations, and promotional assets.
• Partner with marketing and web teams to improve visual storytelling, usability, and engagement across digital experiences.
• Support the creation and ongoing improvement of landing pages and company websites.
• Design lightweight web animations and motion elements with attention to usability, accessibility, performance, and responsive behavior.
• Social Media and Content Design
• Design static graphics, animated content, short-form videos, templates, and campaign assets that support social media strategy.
• Collaborate with content creators to translate written concepts into platform-appropriate visual stories.
• Adapt creative for channel-specific formats and placements while maintaining a consistent campaign identity.
• Project Management and Collaboration
• Manage multiple creative projects while balancing priorities, deadlines, production requirements, and stakeholder feedback.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, customer success, and external creative partners.
• Present and explain creative concepts, incorporate feedback, and guide projects from concept through final delivery.
• Maintain organized source files, templates, footage, project archives, and creative libraries.
• Help scope projects, identify production needs, and communicate risks or timeline considerations early.

Requirements

• Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Animation, Visual Communications, Multimedia Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in multimedia design, marketing design, or a related role, including at least two years of hands-on professional experience creating motion graphics and animation.
• Strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating motion graphics, animation, video editing, and visual design work across multiple formats.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Demonstrated experience creating motion graphics and animations from concept or storyboard through final production. Motion design and animation experience are essential requirements for this role.
• Experience creating animated explainers, product demonstrations, kinetic typography, animated data visualizations, or performance-focused social content.
• Experience editing video, including pacing, transitions, audio, color correction, captions, and delivery for multiple digital platforms.
• Experience designing assets for digital campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, and marketing programs.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, color, visual hierarchy, timing, movement, and storytelling.
• Working knowledge of video and animation production standards, including aspect ratios, frame rates, codecs, compression, and export settings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, respond constructively to feedback, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience designing for a B2B SaaS, technology, property management, or service-based company.
• Familiarity with Figma, Canva, and other collaborative or rapid-production design tools.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles, responsive web design, and web animation best practices.
• Experience creating presentation decks, sales enablement materials, and event content.
• Experience with photography, videography, art direction, or remote video production.
• Familiarity with digital accessibility standards, including captioning, legibility, contrast, and motion considerations.
• Understanding of digital marketing best practices and how creative decisions can influence engagement and campaign performance.
