• As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Operations in Sparks, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist visitors and personnel with professionalism, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or the public at a utility services location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and utility-related infrastructure to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
