As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist visitors with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and delivers innovative solutions.

• Sat 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Sun 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials when assigned, and report access concerns in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
