As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access and activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized persons.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report access control concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift.

Requirements

• 21+ Years of Age
• Supervisory Experience
• 2+ Years' Law Enforcement/Military Police/Corrections Experience
• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience
• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess supervisory experience.
• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
