• As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Operations in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location. In this primarily driving role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support access control and badge processes. You will provide professional communication and customer service while responding to security-related concerns. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate law enforcement or emergency personnel as required.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol activity, incidents, inspections, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
