• As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Operations in Louisville, KY , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
• Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
• Day Time
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
• This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor badges, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, and materials in accordance with site policies, escalating unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, production-area entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
