Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes as directed, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating arrival information to appropriate personnel.
• Answer and route incoming calls, provide general site information, and support reception activities in a courteous, professional manner.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols and notifying appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
