• As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Field Operations in Norfolk, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will build positive relationships through exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain controlled access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
