- As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Operations in Washington, DC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a hotel location, you will provide a welcoming presence for guests, assist with access control and visitor inquiries, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access to the hotel lobby and front desk area, verify visitor credentials as required, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate hotel personnel.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain accurate incident logs, visitor records, and shift reports in accordance with site procedures.
- Support a welcoming hotel environment by providing directions, answering general questions, and coordinating with hotel staff and emergency responders as needed.
Requirements
- Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
