Job description
- Application
- Take industrial AI to market.
- We're building AI systems for some of the world's most complex industrial environments.
- Our flagship product, ScrapChef, combines AI, physics and industrial data to optimise steelmaking. It helps major producers make better decisions about scrap purchasing, material mixes and furnace operations.
- As our first dedicated Go-To-Market hire, you'll own sales enablement and marketing from end to end. That means building the pipeline, the story and the brand that take FDM from steelmaking into new heavy industries. The role is based in London or Austin, Texas, with relocation support available.
Responsibilities
- Drive lead generation and run top-of-funnel inbound and outbound sales operations
- Qualify enterprise leads and build pipeline with senior industrial buyers
- Create pitch decks and sales collateral that convert
- Turn complex technical deployments into case studies, ROI calculators and product announcements
- Own digital demand generation, including content, campaigns, social media and email outreach
- Experiment with non-traditional formats, such as video and visual breakdowns of industrial processes
- Find, secure and run our presence at key conferences, trade shows and technical committees
- Make our brand, website and collateral an industry-leading standard
- You'll need to become fluent in both our technology and our customers' world. On the same day, you might be talking to a plant operations manager and a CFO.
Requirements
- We're interested in commercially minded self-starters who take full ownership of revenue and brand without waiting for direction.
- B2B marketing or growth lead at a high-growth startup
- Product marketer
- Sales enablement or revenue operations lead
- Demand generation specialist
- Enterprise account executive ready to own GTM more broadly
- Industrial or technical marketer
- Founder or early-stage startup operator
- Consultant or high-performing generalist with commercial flair
- A track record of driving revenue or qualified enterprise pipeline
- An understanding of enterprise B2B sales cycles and how to communicate value to senior stakeholders
- Exceptional writing skills, from high-level commercial pitches to detailed technical product copy
- The ability to combine data-driven analysis with creative, unconventional marketing
- The resourcefulness to build processes and campaigns from scratch
- A willingness to travel frequently to conferences, trade shows and customer sites, including some very large factories
- A preference for working in the office alongside your team
- Industry experience isn't required. We care far more about your ability to generate pipeline, tell a compelling story and turn ideas into revenue.

Benefits
- Real-world impact: Sell technology that already runs in production and influences decisions worth millions of dollars.
- A blank canvas: As our first GTM hire, you'll build the function from scratch: the playbook, the processes, the channels and the brand.
- Real momentum: Following our Series A, we're on track to grow bookings fivefold year on year.
- New markets: Shape how FDM expands beyond steelmaking into new heavy industries.
- Extreme ownership: A small team, minimal bureaucracy and significant autonomy. You'll have direct influence over how FDM goes to market and scales.
- Be early: FDM is at a stage where exceptional people can have a disproportionate impact on the company's trajectory.
