Job description

• Position Summary/Objective: As the Senior Associate Brand Manager (Sr. ABM), you will play a critical role in driving the continued growth of our MadeGood brand in the US. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and execute marketing programs that deliver against volume, revenue, and profit goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses of brand health, business performance, innovation launches, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Lead SKU rationalization reviews and recommend portfolio optimization actions based on business performance.
• Collaborate with Sales to create consumer-centric sales strategies, identify profitable brand growth opportunities, and support innovation sell-in.
• Translate brand strategies into sales and customer-facing materials
• Manage, track and optimize Marketing budget to help scale business impact
• Collaborate with Brand Comms team to build out briefings for annual marketing channel plans, supporting both base business and innovation
• Collaborate with Brand Innovation Team, R&D, and Project Management to bring the right innovations to market
• Own launching US-specific innovations including channel-specific packs and flavors

• Develop at least one consumer-led selling story or customer presentation that supports distribution, assortment, or innovation sell-in.

• Lead at least one cross-functional business innovation project with clear milestones, ownership, and outcomes.

Requirements

• BA in Marketing or related business field (MBA an asset)
• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in CPG brand management (2+ years as an ABM)
• Strong understanding of the US consumer (food experience a plus)
• Self-starter with a high level of initiative and flexibility
• Ability build & maintain strong working relationships
• Ability to influence peers, leaders, cross-functional and retail partners
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency with syndicated data (ex. IRI, Nielsen, SPINS), Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the willingness and ability to learn new digital solutions
• Understanding of product P&L and business management
• TEAM player, ability to ADAPT to changing situations in a fast-growing company
• Results-oriented, highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who takes OWNERSHIP for results
• Demonstrates HUMILITY throughout the company daily
