Responsibilities

• SQL Always On Patch Automation Engineer role involving patch automation, infrastructure automation, and vulnerability management.

Requirements

• 6+ years of enterprise Windows Server infrastructure engineering experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on SQL Server Always On Availability Group administration in production environments.
• 3+ years of infrastructure automation using Ansible and/or PowerShell.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC).
• Advanced PowerShell scripting using SqlServer module, dbatools, or similar tools.
• Strong T-SQL skills for querying availability group health and synchronization.
• Experience with enterprise Windows patch management using MECM/SCCM and maintenance windows.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow APIs and enterprise change workflows.
• Experience with JAMS, Control-M, or similar enterprise scheduling platforms.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps Repos, and Pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability remediation, operational risk management, and production support.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working in HIPAA, PCI, SOX, or other regulated environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Microsoft, Red Hat Ansible, ServiceNow, or ITIL certifications are a plus.
