- Job Description:
- The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, operational performance, and organizational data to identify opportunities for improvement, increase efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop insights, streamline workflows, and implement solutions that drive business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze operational data and business metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards.
- Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support strategic planning initiatives through research, forecasting, and analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and identify operational solutions.
- Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and root cause investigations.
- Assist in the implementation and management of operational projects and process improvements.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for management teams.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activities as needed.
- Document business processes, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, operations, process improvement, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with Power Bi or other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Project management experience or certification.
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS or workforce management platforms.
