Job description

• One to One Health is looking for a full time Director of Clinical Operations and Advanced Practice Provider to join our care team located in Lewiston, Idaho!
• The Director of Clinical Operations and Advanced Practice Provider leads the overall operations of assigned clinics, supports clinical quality and staff performance, and maintains positive client relationships. This is a dual leadership and clinical role. The Director must maintain active credentials and readiness to provide direct patient care as an Advanced Practice Provider and will provide backfill coverage in the onsite clinic when a scheduled provider is unavailable or additional clinical support is needed.
• The Director develops, implements, and evaluates clinical and operational processes; collaborates with the management team in organizational planning; and ensures the delivery of safe, timely, high-quality care. Clinical responsibilities are performed within the provider's scope of practice and in accordance with applicable law, organizational protocols, and required collaborative or supervisory arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Operations Leadership
• Participate in recruiting and medical providers, practice coordinators, and clinic staff.
• Ensure timely performance appraisals, coaching, and evaluations for care team staff.
• Support the coordination of clinic services, including patient access, scheduling, electronic medical record workflows, supply management, facilities, and equipment.
• Support successful clinic openings and work with clients to strengthen their health-related culture.
• Maintain clinic operating budgets and communicate promptly with management regarding staff, patient, facility, or operational concerns.
• Onsite Clinical Backfill Coverage
• Provide onsite Advanced Practice Provider backfill coverage when the regularly scheduled provider is absent, during vacancies, or when patient care needs require additional provider support.
• Evaluate and treat patients for acute and chronic health conditions, injuries, and illnesses using evidence-based protocols and appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform pre-employment, annual wellness, and other occupational or preventive examinations within scope and credentialing.
• Provide health screenings, disease prevention services, patient education, health coaching, and patient advocacy.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, monitor the effectiveness of interventions, and make appropriate referrals in collaboration with the care team.
• Document care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record and report or review cases with the medical director and client managers, as appropriate.
• Maintain clinical competency, required licensure, certifications, prescriptive authority, and controlled-substance registration so coverage can be provided when needed.
• Quality Compliance and Client Partnership
• Monitor patient throughput, wait times, outcomes, feedback, and satisfaction; lead improvement work and complaint resolution as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable legal, regulatory, organizational, and client requirements, including Department of Health standards and the Compliance Process.
• Serve as an onsite resource for patients and staff and ensure required training and re-education are completed.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, attend client meetings, and monitor processes needed to achieve client performance guarantees and patient satisfaction goals.
• Assist with planning and developing new clinical programs and identify opportunities to improve clinical care and patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate One to One Health's mission in all leadership, operational, and patient-care responsibilities.
• Perform related duties as required

Requirements

• Required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Current license and certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in the state of Idaho.
• Current prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Three years of healthcare management experience.
• Two years of relevant primary care experience.
• Ability and willingness to provide direct patient care and onsite clinic backfill coverage as operational needs arise.
• Ability to practice within applicable law, organizational protocols, credentialing requirements, and the provider's approved scope of practice.
• Master's degree.
• Certified Department of Transportation medical examiner.
• Occupational health experience in a corporate or industrial setting.
