Account Executive, Commercial at Pure Storage in Singapore, Singapore

Job description

• We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Commercial Account Executive to expand and grow our Singapore commercial business. This is a high-impact sales role for a self-directed operator who can create pipeline, open new accounts, expand existing relationships, and consistently move opportunities from discovery through closure.
• The successful candidate will combine the velocity and stamina of a strong hunter with the relationship-building and business acumen of a trusted advisor. You will work closely with Sales Engineering, Channel, Marketing, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to deliver measurable value for customers and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Promote Innovative Solutions: Advocate for our all-flash enterprise storage technology.
• Build Relationships: Foster strong connections with customers, ensuring high satisfaction. Develop and execute territory plan across whitespace and installed-base accounts.
• Lead and Strategize: Direct pursuit teams and develop account plans to secure new customers. Identify and create new business opportunities while expanding adoption within existing commercial accounts.
• Manage Sales Pipeline: Drive activities to meet and exceed sales quotas. Build and maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline through structured prospecting, partner engagement, customer meetings, marketing led events and targeted account activities.
• Collaborate with Partners: Work with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners to position Everpure.
• Execute Account Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to close deals consistently. Understand customer priorities, business drivers, and financial considerations, then connect them to relevant Everpure outcomes.
• Deliver Results: Surpass quotas, maintain a strong pipeline, and drive referenceable business.
• Communicate Effectively: Present proposals highlighting Everpure’s benefits.

Requirements

• Sales Passion: A strong drive for sales and relationship building. Sound financial acumen and the ability to discuss business impact, investment priorities, and mutually beneficial deal structures.\
• Commercial Experience: Experience with direct/indirect sales on Commercial accounts, especially within Singapore, with the ability to manage a mix of new-logo and expansion opportunities.
• Partner Collaboration: Experience working with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners.
• Prospecting Skills: Advanced skills in engaging new customers required.
• Ambition and Drive: A goal-oriented attitude and desire to drive change.
• Proven Success: A track record of exceeding quotas and maintaining a robust pipeline.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of cloud computing, data management and Data Centre Architecture.
• Communication Skills: Excellent time management and communication abilities.
• Experience: 8+ years of field sales experience.
• Language Skills: Professional English proficiency.
