Job description
- Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 11+ month contract opportunity.
- This role involves the detailed technical design and development of software solutions to address complex business needs. The ideal candidate will write, test, and deploy code using existing and emerging technology platforms, as well as prepare necessary technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms
- Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs
- Write, test, and deploy software
- Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software
- Maintain and debug software
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience with design process improvements and application development
- Ability to develop customer-centric solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with release management and User Experience (UX) design principles
