Job description

• Bring your MA skills directly to patients at home. We’re hiring a Washington-based Medical Assistant to support Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and preventive care in the community.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled in-home member visits
• Support Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and other preventive-care activities
• Take vitals, complete screenings, perform approved point-of-care testing such as A1Cs and UAs, and document visits
• Support Well-Child Visits when assigned
• Document accurately using EMR/EHR systems
• Follow clinical, safety, HIPAA, and infection-control procedures

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience
• Active Washington State Medical Assistant certification/credential
• Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, current registration, and active auto insurance
• Comfort working independently in patients’ homes
• Ability to meet vaccination and TB/PPD onboarding requirements
• Willingness to travel throughout Washington based on patient and business needs
• Medicare Annual Wellness Visit experience
• Home-visit, field-based, mobile-care, or community health experience
• Experience with A1Cs, UAs, specimen collection, or similar point-of-care testing
• Well-Child Visit or preventive-care experience
• Experience documenting patient visits in an EMR/EHR system
