• This position is based in our 605 Third Ave, NYC office on a hybrid schedule.
• The LIONS Commercial Partnerships team is seeking an Account Executive to join our team. This role will report directly into the Senior Account Manager, support the wider team of Account Managers, and work with building world-class experience for global advertising and creativity clients.
• The LIONS Commercial Partnerships team works directly with clients year-round and is responsible for driving revenue consistently against our events product portfolio. This person will be tasked with supporting key accounts in partnerships with the Senior Account Manager.
• This award winning team works with world class clients such as LinkedIn, Amazon, Spotify, Adobe, TikTok, Pinterest and more on creative partnership solutions.
• We provide a full service, working with the client from initial introduction through signing a contract to delivering their partnership on site and digitally. We are looking for an ambitious Account Executive, who has the ability to manage multiple projects, has an eye for creativity and new ideas who wants to work with suppliers and partners to deliver ambitious projects in an organised and high-quality manner.
• Successful candidates will have a year or more experience in either a sales, marketing, or relevant industry environment and are motivated by a fast-paced and autonomous role, but we’re open to all applicants with a passion for Creativity. Our excellent team of Commercial Managers will arm you with the training & support you need to be successful.
• Key attributes for success in this position include top-tier organisation and account management skills, excellent written communication, curiosity to learn about the creative & marketing industry, and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects and schedules for Senior Account Manager to support client management
• Support account growth and new business development by attending calls, taking notes, drafting contracts, creating sales presentations, and developing new business outreach
• Support Senior Account Manager in liaising with internal LIONS teams, including operations, marketing, content, awards & finance.
• Assist with accurate contact, pipeline, and activity information in Salesforce.
• On-site operational support during the Cannes Lions Festival period, including direct liaison with clients and suppliers.
• The ability to independently manage smaller clients in addition to supporting the Senior Account Manager
• Willing and able to travel for necessary event operations, site visits, planning to both our London, UK HQ office and Cannes Lions Festival in Cannes, France.
• Responsible for achieving the designated Account Executive performance target.

Requirements

• Interest and/or experience in the advertising, tech and creative industries.
• Excellent literacy and numeric skills required.
• Confident verbal communications skills.
• Computer literate, use of Google, Microsoft Suite and internal CRM will be required
• 1+ years’ experience in a sales or a sales focused customer facing environment with evidence of demonstrable success and growth necessary.
• Second language skills are not required, although French and/or Spanish would be of significant added value.

• This role offers a base salary of $60,000-70,000 plus commission.
