• As a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney, you'll represent clients in a variety of civil disputes while developing your litigation skills and working alongside experienced attorneys. • Represent individuals, businesses, and organizations in civil litigation matters, including contractual and commercial disputes.
• Manage cases through discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, court hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Analyze evidence, evaluate legal risks, and provide clear, practical legal advice to clients.
• Negotiate favorable resolutions while preparing cases for litigation when necessary.
• Build strong client relationships through responsive communication, professionalism, and effective advocacy.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Candidates must have an active Colorado Bar license, 1+ years of civil litigation experience, and currently reside within commuting distance of Castle Rock, CO. Applicants must be comfortable working 100% on-site. We are not considering out-of-state candidates or relocation applicants.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Colorado Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with litigation pleadings, motions, discovery, and case preparation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and provide outstanding client service.
• A collaborative mindset, strong professional judgment, and attention to detail.
• Courtroom experience, deposition experience, and independent case management skills are preferred.
